Diddy’s defense attorney, Alexandra Shapiro, has revealed that the music mogul hopes to dedicate part of his life after prison to helping others confront and address domestic violence issues.
Shapiro explained to reporters that Diddy’s vision is to “work with programs and be able to go in and talk to people about the issue of domestic violence in a proactive way and be an advocate.” She added that sometimes individuals with his background and public profile can be “the best spokesperson” for such causes, using their personal experiences, both the good and the bad, as a teaching tool.
