Blueface is speaking out after being released from prison.
On Monday, November 3, the Los Angeles native went live on Instagram and spoke to his followers for the first time in over a year. In his video, Blueface showed off his house and encouraged fans to follow him on Instagram before he makes his profile private. In another video he posted to his timeline, Blue declared he's "still that n***a two years later." He also took to his IG Stories to show off his two kids and their reactions to his homecoming. In a video the rapper's dad posted, you can see Blueface hug his kids and mom for the first time in two years.
Blueface was sentenced to four years in prison last year. He turned himself in last January after he violated the terms of his probation stemming from his alleged assault on a bouncer at a Las Vegas strip club in 2021. At the time, Blueface, born Johnathan Porter, managed to avoid prison after he was granted a suspended sentence. However, a judge ruled that the rapper violated his probation after he was reportedly caught with drug paraphernalia. During his sentencing hearing, the judge gave Blueface credit for a year after he served eight months behind bars.
Blueface's parents had teased their son's release from prison over the past few weeks. His mom, Karlissa Saffold Harvey, told TMZ last month that Blue was close to the end of his prison bid and teased his homecoming party. The rapper's dad also hyped up Blue's release from prison after he made a cryptic Instagram post.
"Today is the end of a chapter in my family's life," he wrote on Sunday. "Tomorrow is the beginning of a new chapter in my family's life. Can't wait."
Welcome home, Blueface!
