Ab-Soul sounds off with his thoughts about Joey Bada$$'s beef with West Coast artists on his new song.

On Tuesday, May 27, the TDE signee dropped his new joint produced by Low the Great & Python P. Ab-Soul begins by highlighting his connections to the East Coast before shouting out the Pro Era crew. He also paid homage to the late Capitol STEEZ when he raps, "Come to find out STEEZ was the leader of the whole s**t/Wish we could've bust it down more 'fore he transitioned."

After that, Soulo fires a warning shot as he critiques the back-and-forth over the past few months.

Ab-Soul emphasizes that the rap game is competitive sport and artists need to be in shape before they "catch a friendly fade." He says he got love for the Beast Coast, but tells Joey his line about TDEast from his recent diss track "The Finals" aimed at Ray Vaughn "was a motherf**kin' stretch." He also refers to his labelmate as "Vaughn Wick" after the young MC remained consistent with every diss track dropped. However, he also suggests that he mentioned Diddy too much in his lyrics.

"Vaughn Wick might've referenced Puff a lil' too much/But cuh wanted all the motherf**kin' smoke, hence why he was so blunt," Soul raps.

"I got love for the Beast Coast, well, we the best one, west up," Soulo spits. "Quit bumpin' your gums, get back in the booth, stop playing with us/Got me feeling like ice cubes sitting in a glass half full/But I'm straight out of Carson, bringing the arson, lil' nigga, watch your attitude."

That's not all. Ab-Soul also sent a warning shot to anyone who tries to step up to West Coast artists, even streamer Akademiks. He ends second verse by rapping, "And I'ma slap Akademiks when I see him."

Rest in peace, Doe Burger. Listen to Ab-Soul's new song below.
