Billie Eilish Covers Justin Bieber, Reveals Pet Spider On 'Carpool Karaoke'

Billie Eilish made her Carpool Karaoke debut!

On Thursday (December 19), the “Xanny” singer made her first-ever appearance on The Late Late Show’s carpool-singing segment — and it was literally the most fun-filled thing ever. Eilish, dressed in her signature neon-green-and-black locks and an oversized sweater, hit the road with James Corden as they performed duets from teenager’s catalog of hits including “bad guy,” “all the good girls go to hell,” “Ocean Eyes,” and finally “when the party’s over.”

During the 17-minute video, Eilish revealed some of the most surprising moments of career, like making a fan of Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong and her chance encounter with her muse, Justin Bieber, at Coachella this year. “All Coachella weekend, I was like, ‘Don't surprise me with Justin Bieber. I can't take it," she recalled to Corden with a smile. "I can't… I have to do this show and Justin Bieber's going to be there. And so, we go to see Ariana [Grande] and I was just standing there…and I saw [Justin]…I know his body language, I know how he stands, I know where he wears his pants.”

"So I look over and I just was like… And he just stood there. He didn't even come near me. He just stood, like, five feet away from me, perfectly still,” Eilish fondly remembered, before nailing an impromptu cover of Ludacris’ rap verse in Bieber’s “Baby.”

Elsewhere in the clip, Eilish reveals just how young she was when she wrote her first song and also invites Corden for a tour of her childhood home — where she introduces him to her pet tarantula! Watch the full segment above.
