Drake's Baby Mama Comes To His Defense, Slams Kanye West Over Twitter Rant

The Drake-Kanye West feud has yet another participant — Drake's baby mama Sophie Brussaux.

As previously reported, Kanye unleashed a war of words targeted at Drake on Thursday (December 13), accusing the rapper of sneak-dissing him on "Sicko Mode," threatening his family, disrespecting his legacy, and a whole list of personal grievances. The one-sided Twitter war caught the attention of Ariana Grande who tweeted: "guys, i know there are grown men arguing online rn but miley and i dropping our beautiful, new songs tonight so if y'all could please jus behave for just like a few hours so the girls can shine that'd be so sick thank u."

Ari's tweet seemed to inspire Sophie to defend her son's father's honor as she responded on The Shade Room's post of the tweet, "I would hardly call Kanye arguing with himself "grown men." #ShotsFired #ItWasAOneSidedTwitterRant #DrakeNeverDirectlyResponded

Sophie wasn't the only significant other to hop into Ye and Drake's drama. Thursday night, Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian took shots at Drake, tweeting a warning to the "In My Feelings" rapper. "@drake Never threaten my husband or our family. He paved the way for there to be a Drake," she wrote before showering her husband with praise. "My husband is the most brilliant person, the most genius person that I know. He has broken so many boundaries, everything from music, stage design, fashion and culture and will continue to change the world."

Drake and Kanye's nearly year-long feud started back up on Thursday when Kanye lashed out at Drake after receiving a text asking for clearance to perform/use the song "Say What’s Real," a song originally by Kanye ("Say You Will") that was remixed by Drake in 2009. Ye's rant touched on a number of topics, including the (old and tired) rumor he told Pusha T about Drake's secret son, the "In My Feelings" rapper's Yeezy diss on "No Stylist," Ye's belief that the Drake still owes him an apology, and a long list of other grievances.

While it seemed like Ye had finally gotten all the Drake drama off of his chest in that 16-plus-twitter rant, he returned to Twitter with a new (much longer) rant only hours later, accusing Drake of threatening his family. (Get caught up on that tea here!)
