SCHOOLS:
- Darlington County School District will be closed Thursday, Oct. 11.
- Dillon School District Three and Four will be closed Thursday Oct. 11.
- Florence One Schools are closed on Thursday, Oct. 11 for all students, faculty and staff members. After school activities for Thursday afternoon are cancelled as well.
- Florence County School District 2 schools and offices will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 11 and will operate on a two-hour delay for students and staff on Friday, Oct. 12.
- Florence County School District 3 will be closed Thursday, Oct. 11, for students and employees whose contracts are 190 days or less. The district will also operate on a two hour delay for students on Friday, Oct. 12. Employees should report at their normal times Friday. In addition, after-school programs that provide bus transportation for students are cancelled for today.
- Florence County School District 4 schools and offices will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 11 including cancellation of all extracurricular activities (after-school programs and athletic events).
- Florence County School District Five (Johnsonville) will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 11. All after school activities are cancelled for Wednesday afternoon. On Friday, Oct. 12, we will operate under a two-hour delay.
- Georgetown County School District be closed for all students and employees on Thursday, Oct. 11. All after school activities and sporting events scheduled for tomorrow are also canceled. Additionally, all extended day programs will be canceled.
- Horry County Schools will be closed Thursday, Oct. 11 for all students and employees. All after-school activities, sporting events, and extended day programs will be cancelled as well. The next update regarding Friday’s schedule will be made no later than 5 a.m., Friday, October 12.
- Marion County School District will be closed Oct. 11. All student activities for this afternoon, Wednesday, Oct. 10 and for Thursday are canceled.
- Marlboro County schools will be closed Thursday, Oct. 11.
Ebenezer Christian Childcare Center in Hemingway will be closed on Thursday and will operate on regular schedule on Friday.
Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School in Darlington will be closed Thursday, Oct. 11.
Faith Christian Academy in Cheraw will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 11.
Pee Dee Academy in Marion will be closed Oct. 11.
Colleges, Universities:
- Florence-Darlington Technical College will operate on a normal schedule on Thursday.
- Francis Marion University will operate on a normal schedule on Thursday.
- Horry Georgetown Technical College will operate on a normal schedule on Thursday.
- Northeastern Technical College will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 11. This includes campuses in Cheraw, Bennettsville, Dillon and Pageland.
