Justin Therouxโ€™s PSA to Men: Never, Ever Wear Flip-Flops

Justin Theroux is a self-described flip-flop hater. The LEGO Ninjago Movie actor called in to On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Thursday, September 21, and revealed his dislike for the casual footwear.

โ€œIโ€™m not a fan of the flip-flops,โ€ Justin shared, laughing. โ€œIโ€™m fine with them at the beach or indoors or going to a public shower or something like that, but not walking around the streets or โ€ฆ at events or dinners.โ€

The phenomenon, Justin added, you see โ€œeverywhereโ€ and โ€œusually paired with, like, a cargo short.โ€

โ€œMy theory is Iโ€™ve never heard a woman โ€” or man for that matter โ€” say, โ€˜OMG! Look at the feet on that guy!โ€™" he jokingly added. "No one wants to see โ€˜em so put them away.โ€

While all men are now quietly burning their flip-flops, Jennifer Anistonโ€™s hubby went on to dish on his latest role in The LEGO Ninjago Movie โ€” and how his reading skills impacted the script.

In the LOL-worthy film, Justin plays evil villain Garmadon who has a son named Lloyd (played by Dave Franco). Justin revealed that when he was recording for the movie, he accidentally pronounced โ€œLloydโ€ and โ€œL-L-oydโ€ and that it stuck in the script.

โ€œIt actually was my terrible ability to read making it into the movie,โ€ Justin explained. โ€œWhen I first got into the booth, I was in full voice going, โ€˜My son L-L-oydโ€™ and I said, โ€˜Oh, sorry. I had a little brain fart.โ€™ And I realized it was L-l-o-y-d and I pronounced both Lโ€™s and we thought that was hilarious โ€ฆ so just worked it into the script.โ€

Listen to the funny interview above. The LEGO Ninjago Movie hits theaters on Friday, September 22.
